“How to do Business with….” and “8(a) - What is it?- Do I Qualify?” are two upcoming workshops designed by the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Gulf Coast Community College. The SBDC provides consulting services, financial consultations, and various training programs designed to assist entrepreneurs in developing successful and thriving businesses. The purpose of the “Healthy Business Workshops” is to give small business owners the opportunity to speak one-on-one to government agencies and learn how to do business with them.
“How to do Business with….” will be held on Wednesday, March 3, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the GCCC Student Union West, room 302. The presenters are from local various city governments, Tyndall Air Force Base, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
“8(a) - What is it?- Do I Qualify?” will be held on Thursday, March 4, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the GCCC Student Union West, room 302. The presenter is Laura Subel, Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Program Manager. This workshop explains the 8(a) government qualification application process and benefits.
