Bay County, Fla:
Investigators in the Criminal Investigations Division of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office working with Sgt. Derek Groves, the deputy assigned to the BCSO North End Crime Prevention Office in Fountain, have arrested three juveniles and charged them in connection with the attempted burglary of a feed store in Fountain and the burglary of a flea market on Teka Lane in Fountain. Also instrumental in the swift conclusion of this case was the work of all the deputies assigned to daily patrol in the north end of Bay County.
On June 30, 2009, an attempt was made to break into the feed store located at 20033 Highway 231. Jerry Ransom Raybourne, DOB 10/23/93, of 20418 Fettinger Road, Fountain, John Eric Shoup, DOB 9/28/92, of 20615 Avant Lane, Fountain, and Benjamin Michael Greenwood, DOB 11/19/93, of 12307 3rd Street in Fountain, have been arrested and charged with Burglary. During questioning, the suspects stated they attempted to break into the feed store with the intent of taking the cash register, but failed.
Raybourne and Greenwood then traveled to the flea market known at the Gator Farm flea market located at 20426 Teka Lane. They were able to enter the building and have stated they took glass smoking pipes. The owner of the flea market stated he was missing approximately $600 in merchandise. Raybourne and Greenwood face an additional charge of Burglary and Grand Theft.
