Black Friday sales are still going on in many stores across the Panhandle, and despite a slumping economy many are finding ways to save for electronics this season.
“I’m selling back one of my weeks of vacation so we’re just going to kind of splurge with that,” said Panama City resident Randy Barnes, who plans to buy a new TV.
“Basically I stagger the purchases over a long period of time instead of waiting until the last minute to buy it all,” said Raf Knap.
Others say this year it’s not all about the boxes under the tree.
“We’re just looking at Christmas as time to spend with family and not focusing too much on presents,” said new mom Carly Rohan.
