Bay County, Fla:
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announces the arrest of two individuals in reference to a string of car burglaries on Panama City Beach.
Robert O. Donelson (10-09-83) and Kendra Hyser (07-20-88), of 136 Treasure Palms Drive, were arrested when Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jayson Deese observed a suspicious vehicle in a business parking lot. Upon investigating the vehicle, Investigator Deese recognized Donelson from a video the Sheriff’s Office had obtained in regards to the ongoing investigations.
Hyser’s 2-year-old child was present when the two were arrested and had been present during at least some of the car burglaries. Based on this information, investigators contacted the Department of Children and Family Services.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently in contact with other local agencies to determine if any of their cases could be related to these two suspects. The arrest of Donelson and Hyser cleared approximately 20 cases with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and more charges are expected.
