On November 8, 2008 Walton County deputies stopped a vehicle that had been suspected in several burglaries to businesses in Walton County and the city of DeFuniak Springs. Inside the vehicle deputies discovered tools that could be used in burglaries and also discovered less than 20 grams of marijuana.
The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested, a Shadler Charles Roehm, age 18 of DeFuniak Springs Florida and Shane Harper Roehm, age 27 also of DeFuniak Springs Florida. Each one was charged with one(1) count of possession of burglary tools, one(1) count of possession of marijuana under 20 grams, one(1) count of burglary one(1) count of petit theft under $300.00 and one(1) count of criminal mischief.
Both were transported to the Walton County Jail Facility. Shadler Charles Roehm bonded out on November 10, 2008 on a $ 20,500.00 bond. Shane Harper Roehm is still being held in the Walton County Jail on a $22,500.00 bond.
Case is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
