Walton County, Fla:
A undercover investigation by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit resulted in two arrests around 5 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, an investigator made a traffic stops on Quail Ridge Road in DeFuniak Springs. Inside the vehicle driven by 28-year-old Joseph Evans Seigler, authorities found a sunglass case with several items including a homemade pipe and several small containers that held methamphetamine residue, and other items that are essential in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
A passenger in the vehicle, 32-year-old Keith Richard Lawniczak, of DeFuniak Springs, was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The items were found under the seat Lawniczak was sitting in.
Investigators then did a search of Seigler’s residence. They found a methamphetamine lab, along with evidence that a lab had been operable in the recent days. In addition, they found a short-barreled shotgun in a shed behind the home.
Both suspects have been booked into the Walton County Jail. Seigler faces two-counts of possession of listed chemicals for the manufacture of a controlled substance, one-count of possession of narcotic equipment, one-count of the production of methamphetamine, along with one-count of possession of a short barreled shotgun. Seigler’s bond has been set at $15,500.
Lawniczak faces one-count of possession of a controlled substance, and one-count of possession of narcotic equipment. His bond is set at $5,500.
