Beaches of South Walton, Fla:
Walton County is gearing up for the Fourth of July and there will be plenty to do.
The Fourth of July will be a blast for everyone all the way from DeFuniak Springs to Destin on Saturday. Whether you are a local looking for a way to get out of the house or a tourist visiting, Walton county has lots of activities planned for the whole family.
The beaches of South Walton is made up of 15 beach communities.
Walton County boasts lots of natural advantages from beautiful beaches to historic landmarks. But it’s probably best known for the beaches of South Walton where families flock every holiday. This Fourth of July will be no exception.
Rosemary Beach will have a parade of bike-riders and all the merchants will offer discounts at stores. Seaside will have a parade and fireworks
If you jump down to Seaside they also begin the 4th of July with a parade beginning at 7:30 in the morning followed with a lot of activities throughout the day.
Starting at the west end the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will have their infamous fireworks display.
If you’re not interested in some of those activites Topsail State Preserve each saturday morning beginning at 9 a.m, they do an activity with a ranger. This Saturday is beachcombing.
