Walton County, Fla:
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office along with several Alabama law enforcement agencies’ arrested two fugitives on outstanding Florida warrants. On Tuesday, Amber Anderson and Keith Bay Lewis were taken into custody at a home in the town of Coffee Springs along the Geneva/Coffee County line.
The U.S. Marshals Office agents helped in locating Anderson. The 26-year-old was wanted on felony violation of probation for Possession of Methamphetamine in Walton County. Authorities say she has a history of drug related offenses.
Besides Anderson, her boyfriend, Keith Bay Lewis, was also taken into custody at the home in Coffee Springs. The 33-year-old DeFuniak Springs man was wanted for violation of probation on an initial charge of battery in Walton County. Both have evaded law enforcement until their arrests in Coffee Springs
Besides the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the other agencies’ involved in the arrests are the Alabama Task Force, the Dothan Police Department, along with the Coffee and Geneva County Sheriff Offices
Anderson and Lewis are currently “behind bars” at the Walton County Jail.
