The Florida Highway Patrol says that 41-year-old Howard Neal Wilson of Wewahitchka was travelling westbound on Lake Grove Road at a high rate of speed before losing control of his 1993 Honda.

The vehicle left the road, struck a utility pole and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest in the woods.

Wilson, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.
