Bay County Track Team Heading For State Track Meet

Several area Track and Field student athletes will be battling the heat this weekend in Gainesville as they will be competing in the AAU State Track Meet at The University of Florida.

The meet will have boys and girls ranging in age from 6-18 years old competing in a variety of Track and Field events like the 400 meter, 100 meter, 200 meter, 110 hurdles, 400 hurdles, 4 x 1 and 4 x 4 relays.
The team making the trip to Gainesville this weekend for the two day event is made up from kids from all over Bay County.  If any of the kids finish in the top 4 of their respective events, then they qualify for the AAU Nationals in Iowa.
