Elizabeth joined WMBB-TV as a General Assignment Reporter in April 2009. She graduated from the University of Florida in December of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication - News and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Prior to transferring to the UF Campus, Elizabeth spent two years studying Communications at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
During her time at the University of Florida Elizabeth worked as an Anchor/Reporter at WUFT-TV in Gainesville, Florida, while also reporting and hosting news segments for AM850 WRUF radio.
Along with writing, producing and anchoring the midday and evening TV newscasts, Elizabeth also anchored 2008 election night coverage, and field reported local parade coverage for the University.
Elizabeth completed an internship at WFLA-TV in Tampa, Florida where she assisted reporters in the field with writing, editing and interviewing. She also contributed multimedia news reports to their website, TBO.com.
