Bay County Animal Control Adoptions

This year Bay County Animal Control nearly tripled the number of adoptions in two years, but many are still without a home.

25 to 30 animals were available for adoption at Petsmart in Panama City Saturday, and there are many more at the shelter.

With Christmas just around the corner a pet is a popular gift, but animal control wants to make sure you take your time so they’re offering gift cards.

That means you can pay the fee now and pick out your perfect pet at a later time.

Officials say about eight animals were adopted at Petsmart Saturday.
