Man Injured in Early-Morning Wreck

A Panama City man is in critical condition tonight, following an early morning car accident.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 46-year-old Robert J. Bailey was driving west on Laird Street when he drifted onto the shoulder, lost control and started rotating. Bailey then went into a ditch, hitting a reflector and a pine tree, ejecting him from the vehicle. FHP reports indicate the accident is alcohol related. Charges are pending.
