Producer Jason Hedden, assistant professor of Theatre at Gulf Coast Community College, along with the cast, crew and production team of GCCC’s world premiere production of “Double Exposure,” received statewide recognition recently. The production was the world premier stage adaptation of local author, Michael Lister’s latest novel by the same name.
The “Double Exposure” production was adjudicated as part of the Florida Community College Activities Association (FCCAA) Theatre Division and received the highest ranking of “Superior.”
The following students received special recognition for their involvement:
Alex Schoeni - Acting
Kayla Dibble - Acting
Emily Hankins - Stage Management/Assistant Directing
Samantha Pacelli - Light Board Operating
Stephen DeVillers - Sound Design
The Florida Community College Activities Association, Inc. (FCCAA) is a statewide non‑profit corporation regulating, coordinating, and promoting intercollegiate activities in: Athletics, Brain Bowl, Forensics, Music, Student Government, Student Publications, and Theatre.
Most of these students will also be part of the cast and crew of next month’s production, “Tom Jones.” Hedden is the director for this comedy which is based on the classic British novel by Henry Fielding.
