U-S Marhals Service Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force has located a Crestview man wanted in connection with a shooting at the Nipa Hut on Eglin Parkway last month.  37-year old Willie “June Bug” King of 697 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue is charged with shooting in an occupied structure and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Additional charges are pending.

Members of the Marshals Service local Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force developed information that King was possibly in the Huntsville Alabama area and passed that along to counterparts there. They took King into custody around 4 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop.  King had approximately a pound and a half of marijuana in his possession at the time.

King was wanted in connection with the shooting of 26-year old Archie Parks during an altercation inside the Nipa Hut near Fort Walton Beach December 27th. Parks survived.
